Connecting students, scholars, and researchers at Islamic University of Bangladesh (IU) around campus sustainability, academic climate advocacy, and youth-led environmental action.
Bringing climate action inside the classroom — and far beyond it.
The Renew Earth IU Unit (Islamic University Unit) is based at Islamic University of Bangladesh (IU), one of Bangladesh's major public universities located in Shantidanga-Dulalpur, Kushtia-Jhenaidah. Established in 2024, this chapter is the academic and research arm of Renew Earth Youth Organization.
The chapter actively recruits university students and young researchers, providing a platform to translate academic knowledge into real-world climate action. Members participate in research projects, academic seminars, campus awareness drives, and collaborative programs with the Kushtia Unit.
Being located near the Renew Earth Kushtia Unit, the IU Unit serves as a crucial bridge between academic institutions and grassroots climate movements — ensuring that scientific research informs community-level solutions.
